Self-Criticism and ThePerksOfBeingAWallflower

Judging people is really easy. It comes to us naturally. Often when we see someone, even our friends, we think looks really pretty today, we just don't say it. Why we're doing this is not so easy to say. Maybe it's pride. You want people to say you look nice, right? Then start telling them they are... We think a lot about a lot of things, bad and good, but smiling to someone on the street, saying hello to someone at work or at school, telling someone how nice they look... It can make someone's day.

Also, we have a tendency to judge ourselves. I know I do. Self-criticism. Sam says in the book The Perks Of Being A Wallflower: "It's just that sometimes people use thought to not participate in life." I love this quote. Thinking too much makes things so much harder than they need to be. I'm an expert at thinking too much.

Also in The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, Bill, Charlie's teacher says: "Charlie, we accept the love we think we deserve."

"It's great that you can listen and be a shoulder to someone, but what about when someone doesn't need a shoulder. Whar if they need the arms or something like that? You can't just sit there and put everybody's lives ahead of yours and think that counts as love. You just can't. You have to do things." - also Sam in the same book.

Accept yourself. Take your space. Love. Be loved. Enjoy life. No regrets. This is your time. Your memories. Your life. Live it.

Change and Relations

It's funny how people change. I just read through some of my previous posts and I find it very entertaining. I am surprised about how happy I seemed. I'm still happy, but in another way. And happiness is not constant. Happiness comes in different types and at different times. Sometimes you can feel so down that you feel you can never get back up again. You can. I believe that. Just look at all the beautiful things around you. We all want something we don't have. Try seeing the special things where you are. If you open your mind, all is possible.

I love the feeling of feeling free. Feeling like anything is possible. Nothing can stop me. Sometimes I feel like just walking up to someone and kiss them. Right on the mouth. I feel like pushing my limits, explore the world. Oh, I love to travel. I really do.

I also love to meet people. I love feeling a connection between me and someone else. I love talking with people from other countries. I love smiling. I love laughing. I love feeling like myself. I love feeling like this is where I belong.

Why are some relations so hard. Often we make things a lot worse than they are. We don't have to be awkward. We don't have to hide. Still we do. Sometimes anyways. Maybe we do have to. No. I don't think so. I will try to think that things are much easier than they seem.

Picnic is fun. Spontaneous decisions are the greatest. Sending a message to a friend. Or just showing up at their door. I can't think of anything more awesome right now. You could go for a ride. A movie. A picnic. A bike trip. An expidition. Make food. Experiment. Anything. Only the mind can stop you.

Anyways. That was all for today. All the pictures are private. All except for the first one. That's taken on my island.

Notifications and Sand

Ok, first of all. I love my friends. Like, I have the best friends in the world! I feel so lucky that I'm almost jumping up and down every day. They make me so happy! You should know that! I love you. Ej elska dåkke! Ok, so I'm in Italy. Living the life. Having a nice time. There is some things I've noticed though:
- Italians blow their noses a lot. And loudly.
- The pants that girls are wearing: We wore them in 2002.
- Boys have nice legs!
- Every town has a clock tower. In this town the clock tolls 06.45 and 07.45 in the morning.
- They have school on Saturdays.
- Most people are good at drawing.
- It's popular with discos.
